Our Vision & Strategy

We believe that God has called East 91st Street Christian Church to pursue bold plans that can only be explained by Him. At this important time in the life of our church, each of us has a tremendous opportunity and responsibility to join with the faithful who have gone before us. Through their sacrificial giving, in obedience to God’s call, they provided the foundation and facility for our current church family. Now, it’s our turn to prepare the way for our ministry to reach thousands more children and adults with the hope of Jesus Christ.

We are not focused on building for the sake of creating buildings; we’re centering our hearts and lives on reaching our city and world with the transforming gospel of Jesus Christ.

Expand our current facilities to continue to reach new people

• Sanctuary and Narthex expansion
• New children’s space
• New road to East 86th Street (Castleton Mall)
• Adult space expansion
• New student's space
• Debt reduction

Plant multi-sites throughout surrounding area to equip and shepherd the Indy population

• Fully functioning community in unique venues
• More effective evangelism and service opportunities
• Shared resources
• Unified structure and leadership

Partner with major mission movements and align our giving to impact worldwide evangelism, care and church planting
